Sukhumvit Soi 38 is like a street hawker centre selling all kinds of Thai dishes. It is popular with the locals and if you are looking for a place to try all the different thai dishes, you should come here. But don’t leave without having the famous Mango Sticky Rice here (BEST mango sticky rice). It is located closer to the main road, on the left. This is one of the cheaper mango sticky rice you can find in Bangkok, but they don’t compromise on the quality. This stall is particularly famous with both locals and foreigners.

The Best Pad Thai Stall in Bangkok
Chicken ไก่ – Gai, Pork หมู – Moo or, more traditionally, Shrimp กุ้ง Gung
On the right hand side, near the entrance to the street there is an extremely popular and well-known stall ‘Pad Thai Fire Look’. The old man fries his noodles for hours every night, and although it might not seem like much, he has a reputation as one of the best Pad Thai cooks in the city.
Crab Meat Wanton Noodle
Apparently the wanton noodle is one of the popular stalls which has
quite some good reputation online. The unique thing for this Thai-style
wanton noodle is they added fresh crab meat as the ingredient.

How to get there: The easiest and fastest way to get there is via boat. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier. It only takes ten minutes, and the boat runs until 23:00. Taxis are not recommended as the traffic can be terrible in this area.

The name might lead you to think this is a transport hub, but it's actually a shopping mall. And you might be wondering why you would want to visit a shopping mall for kick while traveling. Well, Terminal 21 has a special flair - even by Thailand's shopping standards. Every floor of the mall has been themed to a different international city. Enter at the level of the BTS station and you'll be in Paris; go up a floor and it's Tokyo; another floor and you're staring at the iconic red phone booths of London. The Caribbean, San Francisco, and Istanbul also figure into the design theme.
Other malls of note include the high-end Siam Paragon, and adjacent Siam Discovery, which has more moderately priced chains and fun cafes (including one decorated entirely with teddy bears and toy soldiers).
Damnoen Saduak has been Thailand's best known floating market for a very long time but it is also the most touristy one...
What We Loved:
It's huge, lively, full of boats selling food and fruits, and it's colourful - exactly how people imagine a floating market will look like - with the opportunity to capture the perfect photo to show off once back home.
What We Didn't:
It's not 'real' anymore as most of the transactions are tourist-oriented and buyers are almost exclusively tourists. It's far (100 km, or more than an hour's drive outside Bangkok) and therefore requires a very early morning wake up, around 5:00. In addition, lots of tourists always attract a lot of scammers so better book in advance to avoid serious overpricing once there. It happens everyda

About Chinatown: We drove into Yaowarat and starting walking Chinatown from there. There were a row of shops by the road that sold clocks and watches. Vintage watches to majestic grandfather clocks. In the inner streets, there were more things, mostly children's toys, bags, slippers and other miscellaneous things you'll enjoy scavenging through.
Must Try: Visit Thieves Market!
They used to sell stolen goods here (they don't anymore) but now they just sell second-hand items that the sentimentals will enjoy rummaging through. But one man's trash is another man's treasure, and you may just find something to fall in love with here. Photographers will love this place too.
Thieves Market is located at the end of Yaowarat, between Yaowarat and Chaoen Krung Road.

They are open from 4am to 9am, and it is around the area of Baiyoke Sky. I would recommend you to come here from 5am onwards.
This is a wholesale market and hence, for most of the stalls, you have to get 3 pieces onwards to get a good price. Some of them are even going at 100 baht per piece. Beware! As this is a wholesale market, you would expect many people pushing trolleys while they are shopping.
